New Blood Rising

Miranda Ortega Mordecai and her family left the chaos of the vampire world behind, moving to a small community in the Pacific Northwest. Or so they thought. Des and his siblings perform with their band Cringe at GothCon in L.A. There he meets and is smitten by Sigourney and introduces the her to his world.
 
To obtain a prize he has long sought, the most powerful vampire, the Magus, uses a medical emergency in Sigourney’s family to blackmail the Mordecais. Marie strikes a bargain with him to shield her family from another of his plots. She lures him to the other side of the globe, attempting to avert a crisis.
 
She never imagined the Magus would outmaneuver her, and his hidden agenda would ignite a major confrontation in the vampire world.
